Paul R. Daugherty

Paul Daugherty is Accenture’s Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, overseeing the company's Technology Innovation & Ecosystem group. He co-authored HUMAN + MACHINE: Reimagining Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence with H. James Wilson. Daugherty drives Accenture’s technology strategy and innovation, leading Accenture Ventures and the firm’s global alliances. He has played a key role in shaping Accenture’s digital business, cloud computing, and big data services. A passionate advocate for gender equality and STEM inclusion, he also serves on several boards, including Avanade and Girls Who Code. He holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.

H. James Wilson

H. James Wilson is Managing Director of Information Technology and Business Research at Accenture Research and co-author of HUMAN + MACHINE: Reimagining Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. He previously led research at Babson Executive Education and Bain & Company. Wilson is also the author of The New Entrepreneurial Leader and contributes regularly to Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal. His research focuses on how emerging technologies impact worker and organizational performance. He holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and an MA from Boston College and is based in San Francisco.
